Description of duties: You’ll use your talents in software development involving C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript and React to build websites and backend systems, supporting over 250,000 constituents from the optics and photonics disciplines.

Education & Experience/Accomplishment Requirements: Current college students only please.  CS, Math/CS and MIS students preferred. 3 years completed towards your major with at least 1 year of experience in software development preferred. Knowledge in some of the following areas is required: ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL and Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. Must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Location: Physical work location in Bellingham, WA. Occasional telecommuting may be available for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.  The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
