Helpdesk Technician

Full-time, 40 hours per week position available, with flexible work hours.

Description of duties: This position is responsible for providing first line support for PC-related issues by answering questions or resolving computer problems in person, via telephone or from a remote location.  The successful candidate will work individually and as part of a team providing technical assistance and training to end users.  Work will include installing new hardware and software, reviewing monitors, and upgrading existing systems, as well as documenting processes and creating knowledge-based articles to be used company-wide. This job will require some lifting of objects that weigh 20 – 25 lbs.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Two-year degree, or equivalent, relevant experience required. BS in MIS, CS, or equivalent preferred.
  • Along with 1+ years’ experience supporting hardware, software, network, current Windows OS/Applications and Office 365 administration.
  • Must consistently provide excellent customer service, using active listening and effective communication skills. It is a plus if you have PowerShell scripting experience and created Office365 PowerApps and enjoy automating OS/application deployments.
  • We value certifications such as Microsoft certifications, A+, CCNA.

Compensation and Benefits package includes:

  • Competitive wages, annual discretionary bonus. Pay Range $25.34 to $36.73.
  • Medical, dental & vision benefits provided (100% employer paid premium for the employee, 75% employer paid premium for the dependents).
